

Held at Coleman A. Young Municipal Center, Council Chambers, 13th Floor, 2 Woodward Avenue, Detroit, MI 48229-3437 (Map). The Public Health & Safety Standing Committee of the Detroit City Council is held every Monday at 10 a.m. unless council has a furlough day which then it is held on Tuesday at 2 p.m., or not held if council is on recess. Each session is based on an agenda of City ordinances, contracts and resolutions related directly to police, fire, homeland security, transportation, dangerous buildings, water and sewerage, public lighting, and the health department. Citizens are allotted time to speak during the public comment portion.
